The Apache CloudStack project provides two kinds of documentation. Manuals or guides that cover a particular subject (e.g. installation) and ephemoral documention via the CloudStack wiki.

Release Notes Latest release notes for Apache CloudStack giving updates on the latest features and changes from previous versions. CloudStack Release Notes for Version 4.01	Installation Guide Covers the basics of installing CloudStack including pre-requisities, management server overview, provisioning and all the considerations for bring an Apache CloudStack cloud online. A good place for new users to start. Latest Online Guide (and downloadable versions)
Administrator's Guide Covers all areas of Apache CloudStack inlcuding tuning CloudStack, Troubleshooting via Event Logs and other CloudStack Management Resources. CloudStack Administrators Guide	API Developer's Guide Complete documentation of the CloudStack RESTful API guide for advanced instrumentation and interaction without using the GUI including documentation of the Amazon EC2 Compatibility feautres. Wiki Documentation

The CloudStack wiki is a collection of living documents edited by users and developers of CloudStack. Therefore documentation the wiki is sometimes the most current or can be out of date. Please reference the timestamp date at the top of the page to evaluate the freshness of the document.

For Example see this at the top of the page which shows the author and the last editor as well as linking to the changes.
