It is anticipated that releases will be provided for a maximum of 3 major versions at any one time. It is currently planned that the last Tomcat 4.1.x release will occur no later than June 2009. However, there are currently no firm plans for Tomcat 7 therefore, depending on demand, Tomcat 4.1.x releases may continue beyond June 2009.
