# Incubator PMC report for July 2022 The Apache Incubator is the entry path into the ASF for projects and codebases wishing to become part of the Foundation's efforts. There are presently 35 podlings incubating. Podlings made 4 distinct releases, Crail is retired, Doris and InLong graduated last month.Uniffle has joined the Incubator, MXNet still working on some trademark issues. This month we were missing reports from Annotator, Livy, Marvin-AI, Pegasus, Spot, and Teaclave. Spot has missed more than one report in a row, DataLab, EventMesh, Flagon, Milagro, PonyMail, and ShenYu doesn‘t have signoff by mentors and will also be asked to report next month. PonyMail has only one mentor, he had twice missed the mentor's signature. Maybe he should graduate or add more mentors. HiveMall started a retirement vote in the community, we discussed last year whether Livy was graduating or retiring, and someone was interest in that, as was the email discussion last month, but the community has continued downturn. Some podlings have joined up for Apache Con (Asia or NA). Build the project to follow the Apache way, including code reformatting, license check, website building and so on. 2. Grow the community to attract more contributors. 3.
