- When the Apache OpenOffice UI looks oldfashioned (like if it would run on Windows 98 or similar), it is very likely that a specific library is not installed. In a terminal please check if the package is installed. If not you have to add it. After a restart of Apache OpenOffice you should see a much more modern UI.
- For Linux with RPM support:
- Check with "rpm -qa | dnf list grep gdk-pixbuf2-xlib"
- install with "dnf install gdk-pixbuf2-xlib"
- For Linux with DEB support:
- Check with "tbddpkg -l | grep gdk-pixbuf2-xlib"
- Install with "tbddpkg -i gdk-pixbuf2-xlib"
- NOTE: It depends on the used Linux distrubution and graphical system. Therefore it is possibe the library has a slightly different name.
