Roadmap
- March 18, 2013: SIS 0.3 close to feature-complete. Starting tests and filling holes.
- April 8, 2013: SIS 0.3 release.
- April 8, 2013: beginning the port of
sis-referencing
module. - July 2013: SIS 0.4 release with referencing services.
The "success metric" informing us when SIS 0.3 is ready for a release will be to parse a relatively large ISO 19139 compliant XML document, edit some metadata values, then write back the XML document with minimal information lost. Information lost tolerated for SIS 0.3 release are:
- Coordinate Reference Systems (will need the
sis-referencing
module). - Temporal information (also related to
sis-referencing
module). - Geometries (will need the
sis-geometry
module). - XML comments.
For everything else, information lost should be either considered as a bug, or be added to the above list.
