Project Dhara aims to enable computational geoscience by building a geoscience gateway based on Apache Airavata. The project attempts to integrate OGC’s WPS capabilities with Apache Airavata. Further this project will provide a portal which acts as a client to access services and visualize geospatial data according to OGC standards. The portal will be built using Apache Rave to add extensible features. The main focus of Project Dhara is on OGC’s WPS and it also considers standards such as WFS and WMS.

Main project goals:

  • WPS orchestration through workflows
  • Exposing workflows created in XBaya as WPS
  • Portal to access and visualize geospatial data
