ServiceMix is an open source Apache licensed Enterprise Service Broker which is compliant with the Java Business Integration server (JBI) which is specified by specification JSR 208.

The aim of JBI is to allow integration components and services to be integrate in a vendor independent way, allowing users and vendors to plug and play.
