  • Apache OpenOffice 4.1.1 ondersteunt Java 7, wat de aanbevolen configuratie is; maar (speciaal op 64-bit Windows) u zou waarschuwingen kunnen ontvangen over het feit dat de versie van Java defect zou zijn. Download en installeer in dat geval het Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package. Als u dan nog steeds problemen ondervindt, installeer de meest recente versie van JRE 6. Zorg er voor dat u het bestand "Windows x86 Offline (32-bit)" heeft. Configureer OpenOffice dan om die te gebruiken via "Extra - Opties - OpenOffice - Java".
