Comment: Update release page, add test plan for 2.2

We would like to publish our first Apache release as soon as possible to help move the UIMA community to Apache. A tentative date for this first release is:Here's our current release plan.

After that, we're envisioning minor releases in an approx. 3 month cycle:

  • 5/15/2007: UIMA point release (exact version tbd)
  • 8/15/2007: UIMA point release (exact version tbd)
  • We'll possibly do another release later this year.  We will keep updating this page as our plans firm up.
