Technology Preview features give you an opportunity to preview, try, and/or contribute to new Trafodion features before they have been fully completed or tested.

Some Technology Preview features are functionally complete but have not been tested and debugged. Those features are designated as "Technology Preview (Complete But Not Tested)" in the wiki. You are welcome to try those features and provide your feedback on them. (Either send your feedback to the appropriate Trafodion mailing list or file a bug in JIRA.) Please use those Technology Preview features at your own risk. They are not intended for production use, as they are still under development, may not be stable, and could change in a subsequent release.

Other Technology Preview features are a work in progress (WIP) and are not functionally complete. Those features will not be documented in the manuals. If a WIP feature is documented, it will be designated as "Technology Preview (Work in Progress)." At a minimum, the WIP features will be documented in blueprints in LaunchpadJIRA. We recommend that you not use WIP features. However, you are welcome to help us complete their functionality. For more information, see Contributing to the Software.
