Apache Tuscany is providing an open-source services infrastructure for constructing SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) solutions from heterogeneous and distributed services based on . At the core of the project are implementations of the SCA and SDO (Service Data Objects) standards being developed at OASIS and OSOA. Using slides and examples this presentation reviews the fundamental concepts of SCA and SDO, the recent advances that have been made in these technologies and the milestones that have led to significant deliveries from the Apache Tuscany project in 2007.
