Only two fields are required when creating a tracking code: the Tracking Code ID and the Tracking Code Type ID. However, at a minimum, you'll want to include a short description, a trackable lifetime and a billable lifetime.

Available fields:

  • Tracking Code ID
    Free-form ID.
  • Description
    A short description.
  • Comments
    Additional comments - currently unused.
  • Tracking Code Type ID
    Available types: Internal, External and Partner Managed.
  • Marketing Campaign ID
    Used to associate this tracking code with an existing Marketing Campaign.
  • Default Product Catalog ID
  • From Date and Thru Date
  • Redirect URL
  • Override Logo URL and Override CSS URL
    Currently unused.
  • Trackable Lifetime
  • Billable Lifetime
  • Group ID and Sub-Group ID
    Used to further segment tracking codes into groups and sub-groups within a higher level Marketing Campaign.
