Only two fields are required when creating a tracking code: the Tracking Code ID and the Tracking Code Type ID. However, at a minimum, you'll want to include a short description, a trackable lifetime and a billable lifetime.

Available fields:

  • Tracking Code ID
    - Free-form ID.
  • Description
    - A short description.
  • Comments
    - Additional comments - (currently unused).
  • Tracking Code Type ID
    - Available types: Internal, External and Partner Managed.
  • Marketing Campaign ID
    - Used to associate this tracking code with an existing Marketing Campaign.
  • Default Product Catalog ID
  • From Date and Thru Date
  • Redirect URL
  • Override Logo URL and Override CSS URL
    - Currently unused.
  • Trackable Lifetime
  • Billable Lifetime
  • Group ID and Sub-Group ID
    - Used to further segment tracking codes into groups and sub-groups within a higher level Marketing Campaign.

From the tracking code list, click on a Tracking Code ID link. This page displays the tracking code details in a form that allows updating.

To view orders associated with this tracking code, click Tracking Code Orders.

To view visits associated with this tracking code, click Tracking Code Orders. To view details for a specific visit, click a Visit ID link - this will take you to the The Visit Detail page in the Party Manager.
