...the proposal is to have a NetBeans release 4 times per year:

August 2018: Apache NetBeans (incubating) 9.0
- JDK 9 and 10 support
November 2018
- JDK 11 (September 2018)
- Integration of some/all of the features of the 2nd donation, i.e., Groovy, JavaScript, Java/Jakarta EE, PHP
