Draft Charter for Tuscany

Charter

The Apache Tuscany project is responsible for creating a runtime environment based on the Service Component Architecture (SCA). It implements relevant open standards including, but not limited to, the standards defined by the OASIS OpenCSA member section, and related technologies.

• will implement draft specs and give feedback to spec groups
• implementation nursery for innovation in areas not be being worked on by spec groups

• Proposed to the Apache Incubator in November 2005, and accepted for incubation under the sponsorship of the Apache WS project.

Resolution

The Apache Tuscany project was established as an Apache top level project in May 2008, when the Apache Board approved the following resolution:
