There is a command line tool called native2ascii that can be used to convert a text file to use Unicode escapes -encoded characters instead of accented charactersnative-encoded characters. This is part of the Java SDK and you can read more about it here. You use it like this:native2ascii scm-activity_es.properties > scm-activity_es-escapedencoded.properties
On unix-like systems this should be ready for you to use. On Windows you need to download and install it.
