1.4.9 Released

The Apache Wicket project has officially joined the Apache Software Foundation. In the Board meeting of June 20th, 2007 the Apache Board established the Apache Wicket project. We will start moving our infrastructure to our new top level project status in the next few weeks.is proud to announce the ninth maintenance release of Apache Wicket 1.4. This releases brings over 15 improvements and bug fixes.

It is worth noting that WICKET-2846 will almost definitely be reverted in the next release because the community has shown a preference for this. So, it would be wise not to take advantage of the InheritableThreadLocal that was put into version 1.4.9.
