Board report 

Report friction log and feedback: include in the report includes the friction log content and feedback provided by mentors and interns feedback, now we are going to include coordinators 

  • how to promote the program in the community and deal with the issue of spamming our members. 
  • channels to communicate updates. Sally helped us to send the first message but it takes a long time to send the updates because we are depending on sally to send them, is there another alternative

    . Additionally, we consider that we should include the feedback of the coordinators to show what barriers we encountered. This additional part of the report should be finished by the beginning of June.

    Some issues encountered 

    • To promote the program we must go through someone else which results in slower communication timelines. 

    When calling for mentors and sending updates to the community, we depend on a third person to send these communications, this dependency makes the process of promoting the program and keeping the community updated very slow. is there another alternative or a way to speed the process up?

    • We received some messages from members of the community offering to help but the help
    didn't
    • did not arrive. 


    Internships period

    Internships period: May 19, 2020, to Aug. 18, 2020.

    Our four interns started the internship yesterday, May 19th.
