Note

This page still needs work - http://forrest.apache.org/committed.htmlImage Removed is a more correct description of how things work.

Anyone can contribute to Apache Flex: Translation, Design, Documentation, Concepts, code - whatever you think matters. Even writing to the mailing-list is considered contributing. Persons that can change things are called commiter.

You have just to take two - small - hurdles to become a commiter:

1) Contribute something

First: you need to contribute something. Again: you can contribute whatever you like! Use the mailing-list or Jira to pass your contribution to the Flex community.

2) Get voted in

To become a commiter you need to be voted in by the team. The team is expected to be scouting for people with passion all the time. If you feel overlooked: Don't feel shy to ask for becoming a commiter.
