• Local Atlas OMRS Connector – this is the connector to a local Apache Atlas metadata repository.
• OMRS REST Connector – this is a connector to a remote Apache Atlas repository (or any other metadata repository that supports the OMRS REST APIs).
• IGC OMRS Connector – this is the connector for IBM’s Information Governance Catalog
• Enterprise OMRS Connector – this connector can federate multiple metadata repositories by aggregating the results of calls to their OMRS connectors.

OMAS APIs will use the Enterprise OMRS Repository Connector implementation.  As open metadata repositories connect to the open metadata repository clustercohort, they pass Connection information for their repository on the registration request.  The OMRS Cluster Cohort Registry passes these connections (via the OMRS Federation Enterprise Connector Manager) to the Enterprise OMRS Connector.  The Enterprise OMRS Connector maintains the list of connectors to use on the federation requests.
