Apache CXF is an open source services framework. CXF helps you build and develop services using frontend programming APIs, like JAX-WS and JAX-RS. These services can speak a variety of protocols such as SOAP, XML/HTTP, RESTful HTTP, or CORBA and work over a variety of transports such as HTTP, JMS or JBI.

August 15October 12, 2011 - Apache CXF 2.4.2 3 and 2.3.6 7 are released!

The Apache CXF team is proud to announce the availability of the latest patch releases: 2.4.2 3 and 2.3.67

There are over 90 JIRA issues fixed in 2.4.2 3 and more than 40 were ported back to 2.3.6. In addition, 2.4.2 provides new WS-Security functionality such as Kerberos token support7.
