Apache CXF 2.6.16 delivers the latest set of patches and bug fixes for Apache CXF 2.6.x. This release fixes over 25 JIRA issues that have been reported by usersonly fixes problems that 2.6.15 has with running on Java5.   The purpose of this release was to restore Java5 compatibility for the final 2.6.x release.

Note

This is the last release on the 2.6.x branch. Users are strongly encouraged to start migrating to newer version of CXF.
