ERP stands for "enterprise resource planning", a class of software designed to run a business. ERP software is designed to integrate many different features of a business, including:

  • accounting
  • contact management
  • purchasing
  • sales

ERP differs from other software in that it tries to integrate all aspects of business management, rather than just one or two.
