It is easy to become a part of the Project!

Anyone can be a contributor to Apache Flex. Translation, Design, Documentation, Concepts, Code - any help counts. Even writing to the mailing-list is considered contributing.

Special contributors are entrusted to change and decide things on the project. They are called committer. Even though only commiters are listed under team - every contribution is important.

To become a committer - a trusted contributor - You have just to take two, small, hurdles:

1) Contribute things

You need to contribute to be trusted. We don't know who you are and how passionate you are. You can contribute whatever you like! Use the mailing-list or Jira to pass your contribution to the Flex community.

2) Get voted in

Then you need to be voted in by the team. The team is expected to be scouting for passionate people all the time. When your contribution is recognized you will surely be voted in soon. If you feel overlooked: Don't feel shy to ask for being voted in.
