Current Roadmap for future versions of CXF. (this is an ongoing "work in progress", subject to change.)

CXF version 2.0.7 - (being voted on now)

This should just be a bug fix release for bugs users encounter with 2.0.6. This will be done on a branch by selectively merging fixes from trunk on an as-needed basis. For the most part, there would be fixes for:

• XFire migration issues
• Any interopability issues
• Critical show stoppers
• etc....

CXF version 2.1.1 - (being voted on now)

This should just be a bug fix release for bugs users encounter with 2.1. Currently, this will just be done on trunk.

Future version - some will likely go into 2.1.x updates

• XmlBeans tooling (wsdl2java support)
• JiBX databinding (runtime, tooling is lower priority)
• Better Acegi integration
• WS-SecureConversation/Trust
• Other WS-* stuff
