Star schema entities combine the data from the dimension tables (aka dimensions) and fact tables (aka facts) to provide the parties in the various domains within the company with information and data to make informed decisions regarding the future of the company, such as:

• Sales - SalesInvoiceItemSarSchema and SalesOrderItemStarSchema
• Producement - PurchaseInvoiceItemStarSchema and PurchaseOrderItemStarSchema
• Manufacturing - AssetUtilisationStarSchema
• ProjectManagement - ResourceUtilisationStarSchema
• etc.

In the OFBiz BI components star schema tables are structured as view-entities.
