GSoC 2023 season has just started and ASF has been participating in the event for several years now. ASF will also be participating this year.
This session is targeted towards college students in Indore, to spread awareness about GSoC and guide them through the Apache Way and how the ASF works at large to facilitate participation in the ASF projects for this season.
We aspire to bring in more contribution to the Apache projects by developing interest and awareness in the college students.
This will be an in-person meetup scheduled on 10th February, 2023, Friday.
We will be covering the following topics:
1. Introduction to GSoC
- Why they should participate
- GSoC 2023 timeline
- Tips on how to approach a mentoring organisation
- Tips on how to sail through the selection process
