REGISTER → SELECT ORG → PROPOSAL 

1. Visit: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/
2. Click the Login button at the top right of the website
   
   

   

3. After login is successful, Click “Go to homepage” which takes you to the webpage to register as a GSOC contributor. The same page can be visited using the link: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/register/contributor. 
   1. Please fill the required information
   2. Accept Program Rules and Contributor Agreement T&C 
      
      
4. After registering, click on “My Dashboard”; this takes you to the proposal page.
   The same page can be visited using the link: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/proposals
   
   
5. Click on the link with text: browse accepted organizations or visit page using link: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/programs/2026/organizations
   
   
6. On the page of list of organizations, search for Apache
   
7. Click on Apache Software Foundation in the search results which should take you to a page where you can view ideas list and submit your proposal.
   
   
8. Click on submit your proposal
   
   
9. Fill all information to submit proposal
   1. Ensure that Organization name is: Apache Software Foundation
      
   2. Fill all information about your proposal
   3. After filling proposal information, ensure you click on “Submit Proposal” button
      
      
10. Viola, you have successfully submitted your proposal
