GSOC 2026 Application Guide

1. Visit: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/
2. Click the Login button at the top right of the website
   
   

1. After login is successful, Click “Go to homepage” which takes you to the webpage to register as a GSOC contributor. The same page can be visited using the link: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/register/contributor. 
1. Please fill the required information
2. Accept Program Rules and Contributor Agreement T&C 
2. After registering, click on “My Dashboard”; this takes you to the proposal page. The same page can be visited using the link: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/proposals
   
   
3. Click on the link with text: browse accepted organizations or visit page using link: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/programs/2026/organizations
   
   

1. On the page of list of organizations, search for Apache
   
   

1. Click on Apache Software Foundation in the search results which should take you to a page where you can view ideas list and submit your proposal.
2. Click on submit your proposal 
3. Fill all information to submit proposal
1. Ensure that Organization name is: Apache Software Foundation

1. Fill all information about your proposal
2. After filling proposal information, ensure you click on “Submit Proposal” button

1. Viola, you have successfully submitted your proposal
