Build relationships with organisations and groups that can be the source of new contributors to Apache.
Present and speak about Apache at their events
Promote Apache projects to them

How can we achieve it ?

On a regular basis (e.g yearly, six monthly, quarterly) review list of organisations and tools we want to target for the next 12 months.

Outreachy	Outreachy helps people from groups underrepresented in free and open source software get involved. Currently, internships are open internationally to women (cis and trans), trans men, and genderqueer people. Additionally, they are open to residents and nationals of the United States of any gender who are Black/African American, Hispanic/Latin@, American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander. Hackbright Academy	Hackbright Academy is the leading engineering school for women with a mission to increase female representation in tech through education, mentorship and community. To close the gender gap in engineering and technology, we have reimagined and improved engineering education through a customized model that aims to bring women back into the field. Google Summer of Code	Google Summer of Code is a global program focused on introducing students to open source software development. Students work on a 3 month programming project with an open source organization during their break from university.	Active			Unknown User (uli)
Women in Big Data	The goal of the Women in Big Data Forum is to strengthen the diversity in the big data field. As part of this initiative, we would like to encourage and attract more female talent to the big data & analytics field and help them connect, engage and grow.				Unknown User (sharan)
TechieCat	TechieCat is a technology community for women.We believe the world powered by Internet technology will be better when She can play a more active role in it. We are determined to make Internet technology more accessible and inclusive for She by sharing industry insights, offering coding education, helping to expand social network and answering questions. We are a community full of learners and sharers. Currently we held offline events in major cities in China including Beijing,Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Every time, there are excellent speakers to bring fresh ideas and a either workshop for young ladies to play robots and other technical gadgets or bootcamp for coding and programming.
