Installable binary artifacts

• Kafka artifacts are removed due to Facebook BSD+Patents license banned by Apache. See https://s.apache.org/vsiT for more details.

Bigtop Puppet

• There are a few components not working properly under certain Distro. See https://ci.bigtop.apache.org/view/Provisioner/job/Bigtop-1.2.1-deployments/ for more details.

Security

• Bigtop Toolchain might download Maven, Gradle, and Groovy insecurely. Make sure your images are not tempered.
• This issue will be fixed in up coming Bigtop 1.3.0 release. See the following JIRAs:
