The following results were compiled from a Survey conducted August 2025. To reach a broad audience, I posted to the Mifos slack channels (#general, #fineract) and to the listserv multiple times.
Generally the project is seen as positive. A plurality of the respondents noted that they were on a fork of the project, or not contributing upstream. This is striking because only those who are monitoring channels and the listserv were responding, a strong bias toward involved participants.
To questions about security, there was some support for getting fixes but less awareness of the CVE process. To a question about whether a new Fineract front end would be used and welcomed, nearly 80% agreed with yes or it would depend on how good it was.
