Lucene 8.9 Release Highlights
- Enable bulk merge for stored fields with index sort. Merging of stored fields when index is sorted is done now through bulk-merges (i.e., raw chunk copying), which reduces the merge time for these fields by 20%.
Further details of changes are available in the change log available at: http://lucene.apache.org/core/8_9/changes/Changes.html
Please report any feedback to the mailing lists (http://lucene.apache.org/core/discussion.html)
