The mission of Apache Fineract is the creation and maintenance of software 
related to a core banking platform that provides a reliable, robust, and 
affordable solution for entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and service 
providers to offer financial services to the world's underbanked and unbanked.

## Membership Data:
Apache Fineract was founded 2017-04-18 (9 years ago)
There are currently 55 committers and 25 PMC members in this project.
The Committer-to-PMC ratio is roughly 2:1.

Community changes, past quarter:
- Adam Monsen was added to the PMC on 2025-11-05
- No new committers. Last addition was Adam Monsen on 2025-05-16.

## Project Activity:

  • a quarterly release schedule maintained for 2025 
  • release done with new tool from ASF 
  • security fixes made 
  • test coverage improving 
  • new modularization underway 

## Community Health:

  • generally good 
  • GSOC candidates welcomed - adding to volume on list (and entirely from Mifos GSOC program, worth pointing out? ) 
  • for transparency, active fineract discussions split between Mifos slack and on dev list 
  • Community meeting held just before last board meeting - successfully noted progress and identified gaps
