AriaTosca

ARIA TOSCA project offers an easily consumable Software Development Kit(SDK)
and a Command Line Interface(CLI) to implement TOSCA(Topology and
Orchestration Specification of Cloud Applications) based solutions.

AriaTosca has been incubating since 2016-08-27.

Three most important issues to address in the move towards graduation:

   1. Grow the community and enroll new committers.

       2.   Have frequent Release cycles to be compliant with the Apache Way.

   3.

Any issues that the Incubator PMC (IPMC) or ASF Board wish/need to be
 aware of?
 None
How has the community developed since the last report?
Most of the project discussions are now happening on mailing lists.

How has the project developed since the last report?
      • Update plugin adapter to use the new ARIA models

      • Log model needs a reference to an Execution model

      • Missing type_hierarchy field in relationship model

      • Added concurrency support for modifying attributes (AKA runtime properties) of the same node (AKA node instance) from multiple operations - in the sense that overriding operations will now go for a retry instead of silently overriding the previous operation’s update.

      • TOSCA blueprint examples from the spec have been added to ARIA’s repository. This included many small fixes to the parser.

      • Execution logs now (1) exist(!), (2) persisted in storage

      • Operation context can now be serialized when using the Process Executor (ARIA’s main executor) when working with any SQL storage. Before thischangeonly SQLite was supported.

      • Delete API has been added for the resource storage API (and the default file system resource storage implementation

      • Extensions aren’t installed when installing in editable mode

      • Support plugin’s “working-dir” and “refresh/update” APIs on the ARIA plugin adapter

      • by default creating wheel from a setup.py file which uses dependencies fails to take into account the conditions for the requirement.

      • Introduced conditional installation for ARIA ctx.

      • introduced strict dict and strict list to ARIA modelling.

      • first (semi-)end to end ARIA tests
