Post Event Report

It was yet another amazing event added to our list.
We had 50 registrations out of which 30 participants joined us.

The session was attended by around 30 students who are interning with various companies along with their graduation.
Thus it was the best time to sow the seeds of open source awareness in their minds, wherein they can clearly understand the industry requirements and how open source can help bridge the gap.

The session started with Swapnil sharing insights about his journey and what motivates him to give back to the community.

It was then taken over by Priya who briefly explained the terms related to the open-source and motivated them to contribute using various ways (not just code).

Janvi further shared details about various open-source opportunities available like GSoC, Outreachy, and others which can be very helpful to them as students.

Aditya further took over the session and shared his ASF experience.
He also helped them understand the ASF jargons and how the ASF works at large (giving enough importance to our motto "Community Over Code" and the Apache Way)

We also had room for Q&A after each segment, and we had some really good questions from the audience.

ALC Indore is thankful to HotWax Systems for providing the logistics and others who were involved in the process.

Here are some pictures from the event :
