Breakdown of what to follow up on w/ mentor:

  1. Deciding on a project (How was it?)
  2. Writing a proposal (How was it?)
  3. How were the contributions?
  4. How did he select Raza? did he come up with selection criteria? Could he share so others can apply it? Was it hard? How was the quality of applications?
  5. Any feedback in what we can tell interns applying?
  6. Did you communicate w/ mentee frequently enough?... and other points Matt brought up in the convo.

Next steps for the Friction Log feedback. here's a list of the next steps we're outlining:

  1. Follow up w/ mentor and mentee to get OK to share aggregated insights and recos to the board-private@
  2. Follow up w/ mentor to get deeper insights into what worked and what could be improved
  3. Create a 1 page for the board-private email with an overview of results in 2 areas: applying to the program, starting contributions, program duration.

  5. once we gather feedback and consensus we should share publicly in the members@ and dev@ lists
