  • Breakdown of what to follow up on w/ mentor:

    1. Deciding on a project (How was it?) How did you decide on the projects? which needs did you take into account? 
    2. Writing a proposal (How was it?) How was the experience of writing the project proposal? Did you need guidance? 
    3. How were the contributions? How much effort did it take to review the contributions? 
    4. How did you select Raza? did you come up with selection criteria? Could you share it so others can apply it? Was it hard? How was the quality of applications?
    5. were applicants very demanding? Did they constantly ask for guidance? 
    6. Any feedback or advice on what we can tell interns applying?
    7. Did you communicate with the mentee frequently enough?
    8. What did you think worked and what didn't you think worked? 
  • Ask them to take an interview that we are going to provide related to the survey.
  • Ask mentors to share their answers.

    3. How simple was it to set up any accounts? 
    4. How responsive were the mentors during the contribution period?

    8. How likely you are to continue contributing to the project/ASF?

Next steps for the Friction Log feedback. here's a list of the next steps we're outlining:

  1. Follow up w/ mentor and mentee to get OK to share aggregated insights and recos to the board-private@
  2. Follow up w/ mentor to get deeper insights into what worked and what could be improved
  3. Coordinators will fillup this template after collecting the previous information. We will wait till we get the whole data from the mentors and mentee.
