Different locales and different versions of the Flash Player
In order to change the SDK FlashPlayer version or locale you edit build.properties file in the base directory.
1. To change the Flash Player version change the number in this line:
playerglobal.version = 11.1
Currently supported are Flash Player 10.2, 10.3, 11.0, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, 11.4 and 11.5.
2. You may need to download and install the correct playerglobal.swc.
Create the directory, player/VERSION and copy playerglobalVERSION.swc to player/VERSION/playerglobal.swc, where version is the version number of the Flash Player.
eg copy playerglobal11_2.swc to player/11.2/playerglobal.swc

2. To change the locale change this line:
locale = en_US
To one of the the supported locales. Currently supported locales are:
da_DK el_GR en_GB fi_FI ja_JP nl_NL ru_RU zh_TW
de_CH en_AU en_US fr_FR ko_KR pt_BR sv_SE
de_DE en_CA es_ES it_IT nb_NO pt_PT zh_CN
Note: For 4.9 RC4 for some of the locales the build fails a fix has been put into the release branch.
3. Finally compile the SDK in the usual way, "ant main" works nicely. Alternatively, rather than editing build.properties you can specify the properties on the ant command like, for example, "ant -Dplayerglobal.version=11.1 -Dlocale=en_AU main".
Apache Flex 4.9 fully tested versions.
