Welcome to the NBPython Project. We develop and maintain Python support (plugins) for the NetBeans IDE.
Our primary goals are to (1) meet the Quality Criteria for NetBeans plugins, and (2) add new functionality. Our ultimate goal is to make NBPython the best choice for a multipurpose Python IDE.

This is our "first attempt" using Atlassian products!

    Julien Enselme once the `contrib` repo gets brought over what about seeing if there is interest in moving all the python bits to a cluster/directory like `php` and `java` here https://github.com/apache/incubator-netbeans? I'm guessing there would be more folks willing to chip in if the model for contributing was the same as the rest of Apache NetBeans.

    Donation 6 with Python is still pending.

    As part of this work Python was made into a Python cluster but is on hold until donation is complete or until new (maybe LSP) version is complete.

    Alternatively if Nbpython team/authors can support official donation then work can be based on that donation.
