Tapestry comes with In Tapestry versions prior to 5.4 the Prototype and Scriptaculous libraries are included by default ... no extra download is required. Tapestry will automatically link into your pages the prototype.js, scriptaculous.js, and effects.js libraries, or you can easily swap in JQuery using a 3rd-party module.

This works, but 1) doesn't preview very well (preview shows alternatives as side-by-side cells in a table, with no header row), and 2) requires additional processing code to be added to the SiteExporter.
