Building Geronimo

An Integrated Development Environment(IDE) provides a Software Programmer with source code editor, debugger, compiler, build tools and many more. To develop, deploy, debug and run applications over Apache Geronimo we have Eclipse as the supported IDE and a Geronimo Eclipse Plugin(GEP) which integrates Eclipse with Apache Geronimo.

Geronimo Eclipse Plugin V2.1.2

Geronimo Eclipse Plugin provides an integration between WTP and Geronimo and users will be available to utilize WTP features to develop, deploy, debug and run applications for Apache Geronimo.

Prerequisites

• Sun JDK 5.0+(j2se 1.5) or Sun JDK 6.0+(j2se 1.6)
• Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers (Ganymede(Eclipse 3.4) or Europa(Eclipse 3.3))
• Apache Geronimo 2.0.x or 2.1.x
