If you are an admin in the Geode confluence space or the Geode JIRA, please follow these processes.

Granting access to confluence

Anyone that asks on the dev list should be given write access to the geode wiki. They will need to create their own apache wiki account. To give them access, click on "Space Tools" in the lower left and Go to Permissions (or click here). On the permissions page, click "Edit Permissions" under the "Individual Users". Give them all permissions except for admin. We don't have different permissions for committers vs. contributors on the wiki.

Granting access to JIRA

Anyone that asks on the dev list should be given write access to the geode JIRA. They will need to create their own JIRA account. Go to the users and roles page under project settings for the geode project - https://issues.apache.org/jira/plugins/servlet/project-config/GEODE/roles. Click "Add users to Role" in the upper right. Add the user to the committer role. They don't need to be a committer - all our JIRA users just get added to the committer role because that gives them to the correct set of permissions for JIRA.
