This page is intended to make it easy to see at a glance the status of the Felix release process. In order to understand how to handle source file licensing and copyright notices see http://www.apache.org/legal/src-headers.html. The initial activities that have been pointed out for preparing a successful release are:
- Label source headers of contributed source,
- Treat copyright and licensing of third-party works,
- Use the NOTICE file to collect copyright notices and required attributions,
- Prepare the project documentation.
The following table is used to report all the completed tasks. Subproject leaders should at least contribute for their own projects, but feel free to do more. JIRA issue FELIX-144 is tracking the first of these activities with 
Blocker priority. Once the source headers have been updated, please add your initials next to the completed subproject. The Headers Updated field, Notice File and Documentation field should be filled with pointers to the appropriate CVS/Wiki resources. Once the project is considered ready for a release the initials of the person stating that should be added to the last column.
