This is the manual for WebHCat, previously known as Templeton. It includes all WebHCat chapters from the HCatalog 0.5.0 documentation converted to wiki format and updated where appropriate.

WebHCat is the REST API for HCatalog, a table and storage management layer for Hadoop. See the HCatalog Manual for general HCatalog documentation. If you are looking for a Hive GUI instead of an API, see Hive Web Interface.
