• • @zhaijia gave an overview of the DCOS package

    • the configuration is packed into the docker image
    • use persist volume provided by mesos/marathon
  • Questions related to the DCOS package
    • how to manage the configuration?
      • currently it is packed with the docker image. so it has to change the docker image.
      • we might need to expose more configuration settings for DCOS
    • what is the performance using DCOS
      • there is no benchmark yet. Jia Zhai will follow up
      • twitter is also running bookkeeper in containers, but running it in a hybrid mesos mode.
    • does it require to start a separated zookeeper?
      • by default, it leverages the DCOS zookeeper.
    • any tutorials?
      • Jia Zhai will create one page on bookkeeper website/cwiki to explain how to run bookkeeper on DCOS.
  • Yiming Zang gave an introduction about lifecycle management in bookkeeper. He will send out more details in a new proposal.
