Building Geronimo

An Integrated Development Environment (IDE) provides a Software Programmer with source code editor, debugger, compiler, build tools and many more to develop, deploy, debug and run applications. The Apache Geronimo server supports the Eclipse IDE via the Geronimo Eclipse Plugin (GEP).

Geronimo Eclipse Plugin V2.1.2

Geronimo Eclipse Plugin provides an integration between WTP and Geronimo and users will be available to utilize WTP features to develop, deploy, debug and run applications for Apache Geronimo.

Prerequisites

• Sun JDK 5.0+(j2se 1.5) or Sun JDK 6.0+(j2se 1.6)
• Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers (Ganymede(Eclipse 3.4) or Europa(Eclipse 3.3))
• Apache Geronimo 2.0.x or 2.1.x
