This is a work in progress to develop a way to re-organise and consolidate the pages / documents in the OFBTECH Technical Documentation Workspace and migrate them into the Wiki.

Welcome to the OFBiz Technical Documentation Wiki.

In this wiki you will find a wide range information to help you setup, use or develop OFBiz (link to OFBiz main site).

Once you have verified the minimum system requirements (Link to minimum system requirements), you can download (link to download page) and install (link to installation manual) your own version of OFBiz. Anyone looking to administer OFBiz will need to read the OFBiz System Administration Guide (link to system administration guide)

If you are upgrading from a previous version of OFBiz then please take a look at the Data Migration/Upgrade Guide (link to Data Migration/upgrade guide)

If you are going to be using OFBiz in other languages or currencies then please take a look at our Internationalization / Localisation Guide.(Link to Internationalization / Localisation Guide)

If you are going to be developing in OFBiz then there have several resources available a Beginners Tutorial (link to beginners tutorial), Information on the OFBiz Data Model (link to data model) and Service Engine (link to service engine). We also have a section on FAQs (link to FAQs), Tips & Tricks (link to Tips & Tricks) and How Tos.(link to How Tos)

Do we have:

  • an OFBiz Installation Guide?
  • an Upgrade / Data Migration Guide?
  • a Minuimum System Requirements Guide?
  • a System Administration Guide?

Things to incorporate:

  • Technical Production Setup Guide
  • Scaling and Performance - I think this should be a part of the system admin guide
