Draft Applications Roadmap

OFBiz Applications

Structure: It contains all the existing applications (except the component delivered as "OFBiz Core") with their special services and user interfaces

Purpose: To be used by users interested to running a mostly-ready out of the box solution; to be used with the "OFBiz Framework" and "OFBiz Core"

Applications Roles

We are looking for volunteers in the following roles:

Business Process Users - to help define and verify valid or best practise business processes for a range of industries

Application Experts - to help and provide feedback in discussions regarding new or modified functionality

Test Script Creators - to help create and build test scripts (for Seleninium ?)

Testers - to test process flows and new functionality

Current High Level Tasks Identified

1. Tidy up Business Framework - what are key tasks?
2. Complete online application documentation (currently implemented using Docbook)
3. Develop a full testing strategy that includes building full end to end application process testing scenarios
4. Setup full end to end automated tests using Selenium?

As part of the ongoing work to develop and clean up the OFBiz Applications we need help to do the following tasks. If you have the knowledge and skills required and are willing to help this effort, then please include your details below or post an email to the dev mailing list with the task reference that you can help with.
